The menu was an "all-day" type, so choices ranged from the breakfasty muesli and bagel options to the more substantial burgers and boeuf bourguignon.
The look was a surprise: the cafe we thought we were going to had morphed into Henri. Inside it was a pleasant space, with three dining areas. We opted for the middle section, which one of our party said had the look of an old railway station, with brickwork and iron railings.
We ordered eggs benedict with salmon ($16.50), a fresh herb omelette ($14) with sides of bacon ($4.50) and creamy mushrooms ($5). The omelette was also served with a salad and citrus/herb dressing. Our big breakfast fan was surprised to find this brunch staple missing from the menu, so compiled his own by ordering the organic eggs on toasted ciabatta ($8.50) with sides of sausages, creamy mushrooms and smoked salmon ($5 each, making it a fairly costly big brekkie). The sausages were disappointing, being pre-cooked - not what you expect from a cafe - but the serving of salmon was generous.
The coffee was Atomic and all were satisfied.
