The menu is non-existent. This is a sweet, small deli that offers good coffee, breads, smoothies, and a selection of savoury and sweet treats - scones, cakes, muffins, slices, salads, rolls and quiches.
The look is "gritty with a touch of pretty", according to local owner Kate James. The small store used to be the De Luxe Dairy and Milk Bar and has had a cool refit with shelving on one side full of gourmet produce from the likes of Sabato, Wild Wheat artisan breads and Harmony Butcher meats, charcuterie, olives and more. There is a communal table if you're eating in, as well as window bar stools, and a table or two outside.
The food is limited but very good. We tried a bap filled with grilled vegetables and relish, a savoury scone, a lemon curd slice and a chocolate chilli cupcake. All were lovely, but the big winner was the lemon curd slice - delicious!
The coffee is Kokako and very good, with the right amount of crema, and perfect strength.
