KEY POINTS:
A Bruce Lee theme park will be built at the Hong Kong action star's southern Chinese ancestral home of Shunde.
The theme park will include a statue of Lee, a memorial hall and martial arts academy, according to the BBC.
Lee was born in San Francisco, soared to stardom in the early 1970s with his intense martial arts fighting style and by portraying characters that defended the Chinese and working class against oppressors. He died in 1973, aged 32, from a brain disorder, having completed just four films.
