Britney Spears is suing seven London-based insurance companies that refused to pay out when she cancelled her ONYX hotel tour.
The pop star was forced to axe the tour last year when she suffered a knee injury, but is now demanding she be reimbursed the US$5 million ($7.21 million) costs.
The insurance companies are refusing to pay because Spears failed to disclose a previous injury, according to legal documents.
The 23-year-old star missed a few shows on the 82-date world tour after injuring her knee during a show last March. A later incident forced her to cancel the rest of the tour.
