A Brisbane woman has shared shocking footage of a stranger verbally attacking her in the street over her gym shorts.
Jasmine Absolom, 24, had been exercising in the city on Thursday evening when she was confronted by an unknown woman who claimed her grey shorts were too revealing.
When the marketing assistant attempted to reason with the stranger, the situation escalated, prompting Jasmine to record the horrifying confrontation on her phone.
In the clip, the woman can be heard screaming at Jasmine, who claimed the popular Muscle Nation "scrunch booty" shorts exposed her privates.
"I'd just been to Coles and bought a sparkling water and as I was walking home, I looked down a side street and saw a lady," Jasmine told news.com.au

"She slowed down a bit and then she just starts screaming out me. She was yelling, 'get your f**king ass out of my face' and was calling me a 'whore' and a 'slut'.
"Then she said 'I can see your clitoris' and called me 'disgusting'. I was in complete shock."
Jasmine, who was wearing a top and a "puffy jumper" with the shorts said she tried to reason with the woman, telling her "women can wear whatever they want", but the situation only worsened.
"She started to tell me it was my fault women get raped, saying the way I dressed 'provoked men'.
"I just had to say something, I was just so angry – it's disgusting to say to another woman 'you are the reason other women are getting raped'."
After about 10 minutes, Jasmine could feel the stranger becoming aggressive so she squirted water on her to break away from the clash.
"When I got around the corner, I burst into tears," she said. "I called my best friend and sent her the video, and she responded saying 'I have no words'.
"You see similar videos online, but you never know anyone it happens to."
Once the shock of the attack had subsided, Jasmine decided to share a snippet of the video on TikTok where it has quickly racked up thousands of views, tagging it "#karensgonewild".
In the video, Jasmine also shared a photo of the outfit she was wearing, with many wondering what was the issue.
"You're in workout gear... Has she not seen people out like this before?" one woman asked.
"I wear less than that every day lol love to hear what she has to say about me," another remarked.
