Bring on the sex siren

The latest model to win a prestigious makeup contract is not Linda Evangelista, Gemma Ward or Daria Werbowy but a drawing called Miss Martini.

She's the creation of the artist Misery, in collaboration with Phoenix Renata, founder of New Zealand's Phoenix Cosmetics.

Miss Martini is the type of cartoon to have a martini in one hand and a compact in the other.

"Miss Martini's glamorous, slinky, sassy and wears lots of dark sparkly eyeshadow, liquid liner, pink blusher and glossy red lips, so we really wanted to develop the line based on what she would like to wear. I think she really likes it," says Misery.

It's a small but fun range, that includes pink and red lip glosses and lipsticks as well as six rich, glittery eyeshadows in deep ocean blue, khaki, golden brown, violet, dark red and black. The waterproof, lengthening and strengthening mascara has been designed to withstand big nights out and bring out anyone's inner sex siren.
