KEY POINTS:
Stunning light and motion displays featuring bouncing kiwis, leaping deer and a fiery sea dragon will bring a touch of magic to Waikoko Gardens in Hastings during the Fiesta of Lights. Thousands of twinkling lights make a fairyland backdrop for a programme full of family entertainment, including two fireworks displays. The Fiesta runs December 22-31. Shows start at 8.45pm and lights are switched on at 9.15pm. It costs $3 except on New Year's Eve when it's $5 for adults and $3 for under-16s. Kids under 5 get free entry.
