The national bridge championships wound up in Hamilton on the weekend, concluding a week of card-play for around 500 participants.
The major title, the New Zealand Teams Championships, was won by an Australian quintet of John Puskas, Phil Gue, Zolly Nagy, Bobby Richman and Peter Chan.
Earlier in the week, the NZ Pairs title went to Dunedin's Graeme Stout and Jeff Miller.
At the national Interprovincial championships which preceded the main congress, the Open title was shared by Wellington and Canterbury, whose scores were tied when the match concluded.
