Brad and Angelina donate cash to Namibia hospitals

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated US$300,000 ($472,458) for the purchase of medical equipment for two state hospitals in Namibia following the birth of their daughter there.

The funds will be used to refurbish hospitals in Walvis Bay - the district where Jolie gave birth - and Swakopmund. The couple also pledged to donate a further US$15,000 to help a project school and community centre in Swakopmund which they have visited since their arrival in the country in April.
