Rock legend David Bowie has included Australia in his first major world tour in almost a decade, the singer announced yesterday. But local promoters are still looking at whether Bowie's Reality Tour will also include New Zealand next year.
The singer hopes to play to more than 1 million people in 17 countries in seven months and will return to places where he hasn't performed since the late 1980s. The beginning of the tour in early October will coincide with the release of the star's new album, Reality, to be released by Iso/Columbia Records.
