Last December thousands of New Zealanders responded to an internet request from Books Without Borders for books for the Reading Association of Nigeria, which benefits children, students and teachers in that under-resourced country.
Now a second container-load of books is being collected, along with desk-top-published books.
So, print off your stories or essays, put them in a plastic folder and send them, with any other books you can spare, and any useful resources for primary, secondary and tertiary students to: Fiona Lovatt Davis, Star and Garter, Wireless Rd, RD2, Kaitaia. The organisation will also arrange for materials to be picked up some time in December.
