Storylines: Children's Literature Foundation of New Zealand produces two useful publications - National Resource Directory for Children's Literature and an annual yearbook
The Inside Story, Year Book 2003 ($12 inc p&p to non members) contains Jack Lasenby's Margaret Mahy lecture, Changes and Origins, Jean Bennett's acceptance speech for the Betty Gilderdale award, illustrator Sandra Morris' research paper, Books and Environmental Message, and Lorraine Orman's presentation, Moving Into Magic: From Librarian to Writer.
There is also an annotated booklist of all Margaret Mahy's titles in print. The National Resource Directory for Children's Literature 2003/2004 ($10 inc p&p) lists organisations, agencies, etc, with an interest in New Zealand children's literature, relevant festivals, awards, publishers, booksellers, media, grants, fellowships and courses of study.
