Gwendoline Smith is a psychologist and the author of several books. Her most recent is Breast Support (Exisle Publishing).
The book I love most is ... I wish I had a dollar for every time I've said, "My God, that was the best book I've ever read!" But a few titles that come to mind are The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver, A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry, Picasso: A Biography by Patrick O'Brien, The Interpretation Of Murder by Jed Rubenfeld and all things Lynda La Plante.
The book I'm reading right now is ... Last Man In Tower by Aravind Adiga. I'll finish it, however, it would not be a favourite. My favourites in this genre include Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts and Q&A by Vikas Swarup.
The book I'd like to read next is ... out there waiting for me to find. Sometimes this will be through a friend, a review or by recommendation. There are times when non-fiction psychology texts are first on the rank if I'm researching.
The book that changed me is ... The Chalice And The Blade by Riane Eisler.
