Bono donates guitar to Brazilian charity

Rock star and activist Bono will donate a guitar to Brazil's Zero Hunger campaign. The guitar will be auctioned to collect funds for the programme aimed at ensuring that all Brazilians will have three meals a day by the end of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's term on December 31.

In March 2005, Lenny Kravitz donated one of the guitars used in his first Latin American tour. Its auction raised $199,000.
