Bogart makes mark outside childhood home

The Upper West Side brownstone building in New York where Humphrey Bogart grew up was long ago turned into public housing. But the block will always be his.

Scores of fans stood in the rain when the city unveiled a plaque renaming the stretch in front of 245 West 103rd St as Humphrey Bogart Place.

Lauren Bacall, who was married to the actor, said her time with Bogart was too short.
