The Millennium Art Gallery in Blenheim has scored a major coup with the opening of internationally renowned New Zealand artist Bill Culbert's exhibition.
Light Wine Things was created specifically for the gallery after cinematographer and gallery patron Michael Seresin met Culbert last year.
Seresin Estate is sponsoring the exhibition and brought Culbert from Europe for the exhibition's installation and opening on Saturday.
Culbert has divided his time between London and southern France since he left New Zealand in 1957.
