An Auckland woman has slammed McDonald's for its "disgusting" customer service after receiving a burger she had paid for with a bite taken out of it.
Lakyn Taite-Allen posted photos of her Big Mac - with a decent chunk-sized bite missing - on her Facebook page, complaining about her ordeal with the McDonald's branch on Lincoln Rd, in Henderson, west Auckland.
"Went through Lincoln Road McDonald's today and received this unpleasant surprise - a bite out of my Big Mac! Went back to find out how this happened, not back in to get a refund or another burger, but more an explanation and all the manager could say was it's impossible for this to happen."
![Ms Taite-Allen was shocked when she opened her Big Mac box to find not only a chunk taken out of it but that the burger was cold. She had ordered the burger as part of a meal with relatives, including her partner and younger brother, Ms Taite-Allen said.
