Big bands to rock on barge

Three legendary Dunedin bands are being lined up to rock the cockles from a barge moored in Otago Harbour.

The Clean, The Chills and The Verlaines have indicated they are ready to reprise British punk band the Sex Pistols' famous Thames River barge-show to bring Dunedin's Summer Festival to a noisy end.

The concert's provisional date is February 15, the day before Otago University orientation week starts.
