Beyonce can breathe a sigh of relief after a Federal Court judge dismissed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the Bootylicious singer.
Minneapolis singer-songwriter Jennifer Armour sued the Grammy-winning star last year, claiming the 2003 hit single Baby Boy used lyrics from Armour's song Got a Little Bit of Love For You, reported the Associated Press.
However, a side-by-side comparison of the two tracks found they were "substantially dissimilar" leading the judge to dismiss the case.
In a statement issued by Music World Entertainment, Knowles said: "It's unfortunate that lawsuits such as this one occur, but I am grateful and relieved to have this behind me and I am eager to move on."
