From the streets to the red carpet, here are the most notable celebrity looks of the week, featuring a revealing choice from Ariel Winter, Chris Pratt looking cool and Mariah Carey in fishnets, again.
THE BEST
Gigi Hadid

With it's architectural pleats and heavy fabric, it's a look that couldhave gone very wrong. But not on Gigi. The model reminds us of a modern Cinderella in the silvery blue number, complete with glass-esque, sparkling stilettos.
Chris Pratt looks like he's on a mission to buy the best Christmas present ever, and a stylish one at that. His dashing combo of casual boots, a utilitarian jacket and black aviators is a winner in our book.

J-Law looks just as excited for a summer holiday as we are. Her spotted two piece with a mini midriff is crisp and carefree. And that beachy wave through her hair is a refreshing new look for the star.
Ariel Winter

Eighteen-year-old Ariel set jaws dropping in this revealing gown. It's a bold dress, softened by the delicate fabric and print. Her old-Hollywood hair and glam makeup helped boost the wow-factor of her look.
THE WORST
Rihanna

Rihanna's coat looks like a very comfy blanket that should be kept at the end of her couch for late night TV-binging. And, hopefully, we don't need to explain why those snot-coloured socks worn with fluffy sandals are a total fashion fail.
Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey is clearly devoted to her fishnet stockings. She wears them with any and every mini dress she owns. But we just can't get on board with this trend - even if it does attract an elevator full of admirers for the Queen of Christmas carols.
Jaden Smith

Although we would be the first to slip our feet into Jaden Smith's shoes, which we imagine would feel like furry clouds, his ill-fitting patterned suit doesn't quite hit the mark.
The Coldplay singer performed in Auckland this week, but was he hot or was he cold? His tight, white long-sleeve layered under a blue t'shirt is distracting, and best kept in the early 2000s. We're not sure about the colourful patches at the bottom of his jeans either.
