LOS ANGELES - Actor Benjamin Bratt's wife, Talisa Soto Bratt, gave birth to a boy earlier this week, the couple's second child, a family spokesman said on Thursday.
Mateo Bravery Bratt was born on Monday in Los Angeles. Both mother and son are doing well, the spokesman said. The couple already has a daughter, Sophia Rosalinda Bratt, born in 2002.
Bratt, 41, who currently stars in the NBC television drama "E-Ring," starred in the 1990s on "Law & Order" and appeared with Sandra Bullock in the 2000 film comedy, "Miss Congeniality." In "E-Ring," he portrays Major Jim "JT" Tisnewski, an Army Ranger who works in the Pentagon.
Soto Bratt, 38, is also an actress. She and Bratt worked together in the 2002 film, "Pinero," in which he played award-winning poet and playwright Miguel Pinero.
