KEY POINTS:
Look out for pink-ribbon products throughout October and support a worthy cause - the fight against a disease that touches so many New Zealand lives. From TimTams to teabags, you'll see the symbol showing a portion of your purchase price will be donated.
Proving that the beauty industry is more than skin deep, today we highlight just a cross-section of some of the fundraising products available from a sector that is particularly active in breast cancer charities. Do your bit this month, and for the rest of the year don't forget some of the less fashionable good causes out there.
1 Estee Lauder jewelled pin $34
This lovely enamelled and bejewelled lapel pin fashioned as a pink-ribbon is a stylish way to pin your colours publicly (and just happens to echo the shape of the E.L initials). Trios of Estee Lauder lipsticks and glosses in a range of pinks in their own purses are also available.

2 Essie Pink Ribbon nail polish and pink crystal nail file $21
This mini-sized pale-pink polish and file is a great little gift or handy travel-sized set to keep. Crystal files will win you over, as you'll no longer have to worry about only having a worn-out emery board.
From selected beauty and nail clinics.
3 Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser with Pink Ribbon key chain. $110
A keystone of the Clinique range, this moisturiser has had a loyal following for the 40 years of operation the company is currently celebrating. A brand committed to anti-allergenic and fragrance-free skincare, Clinique was ahead of its time and continues to pioneer products that are rigorously tested to ensure good results.

4 Origins Sensory Therapy Peace of Mind on-the-spot Relief $28
A spray on that dispenses a soothing mix of creamy rose-water and peppermint to rub on the neck, temples and earlobes as a relaxant.
From Smith and Caughey and selected pharmacies.
5 BIC Comfort 3 shavers. $5.50
BIC is endorsing the cause in pink multi-packs of double and triple-blade shavers. It's been a while since I picked up a razor, and I was surprised to see how cute they'd got in pink and pastel colourways, some with in-built aloe moisturiser and, yes, scented handles. Handy in the bathroom cupboard.
From supermarkets.
