A small kiwi perfume company has cracked the international market, taking out top cosmetic brands to win an international green packaging award for its all natural products.
Pacific Perfumes, founded in 2003 by Francesca Brice and Kate Jasonsmith, caught the attention of New York distributors after out doing the likes of Estee Lauder with their "whole-earth packaging" products.
Since the award they have had inquiries from Australia, the US and Europe and also took home the Judges Special Award at the New Zealand Packaging Environmental Design Awards.
Unimpressed with logging native timber
o make wooden pots for their products, Jasonsmith told One News they wanted a completely sustainable product and were assisted by the design school at Massey University in Wellington.
