Harry Potter star Emma Watson's number one beauty tip is that "less is more".
The actress said the secret of great make-up is to look like you are not wearing any.
But the 21-year-old still thinks it is important to play around a bit with different looks.
"Don't wear too much make-up. Less really is more. I think the most beautiful people are those who look like they're not really wearing any," she told British magazine Company.
"Overall though, just have fun with it and experiment."
The star, who is the latest face of beauty giant Lancome, also named two beauties whose look she admires.
Watson, who has also modelled for Burberry and Chanel, likes Kate Bosworth and Diane Kruger's effortless style.
The two actresses are renowned for their pretty and natural make-up, flowing blonde locks and chic outfits.
"Kate Bosworth and Diane Kruger always have beautiful hair and make-up," Watson said.
