Beauty: Cherish your hair and skin in the cold season

Treat yourself for winter.

With winter having arrived in full effect, our beauty regimes change to deal with the seasonal shift.

There's nothing like a "new do" to conquer the winter months and Rodney Wayne's winter campaign "By Appointment to You" illustrates this beautifully. My favourite cut is Pixie Rose II, which has a heavy long fringe and uses the subtle ballayage colour technique created by Global Creative Director and New Zealand's own hair maestro Richard Kavanagh, who has just won the Session Stylist of the Year at Hair Expo for the second time.

Looking after your skin as it hides under layers of clothes is important, and you can't beat the soothing effects of Aveeno's Skin Relief range. It's my go-to for looking after my skin year-round.
