Beach Day Out features top NZ musicians

Gisborne, New Plymouth and Mt Maunganui will be the beachside venues for some of New Zealand's top musicians next month.

The Beach Day Out was launched last year, with performers including Scribe, Zed, Nesian Mystik, Golden Horse, Augustino and The WBC taking to outdoor stages in Gisborne, Napier, Mt Maunganui and Raglan.

This year the event will be staged in Gisborne, New Plymouth and Mt Maunganui only. It features a lineup of artists ranging from hip-hop to power punk.

Organisers confirmed that The D4, Adeaze, Fast Crew, Dei Hamo, Steriogram, Goodnight Nurse and The WBC have signed on for Beach Day Out 2004, which will be staged on December 27 (New Plymouth), December 28 (Gisborne) and December 29 (Mt Maunganui).

Tickets are now available on-line, and will be in ticketing agencies by November 30.
