First drinks: Were a delicious gin and tonic based cocktail with strong citrusy notes and plenty of tang - perfect refreshment on a warm evening, and a well-balanced glass of chardonnay. They have a very well-chosen wine selection, and surprisingly cheap delicious cocktails. We were so excited about the cocktails we forgot to look at the beer options, but the ones we saw being delivered to tables looked crisp and cold - what more could you want?
The vibe: Is super friendly, easy-going, and catches a wonderful amount of evening sun at the outdoor tables on the footpath. It's just the right amount of European, with the bright orange outdoor tables, pots of lavender, and hand written blackboards and bar menu - it changes daily depending on whatever produce they're excited about. They're also a restaurant with a delectable menu if you're after the full experience.
On the stereo: No particular soundtrack could be heard where we were sitting outside, and it was lovely to simply hear the birds tweeting as the sun went down and the convivial chatter of other patrons.
Room for improvement: Nothing significant comes to mind, although more water on the table is always a bonus.
