First drinks: These guys know their craft so our tip is to opt for a tasting flight of five beers. We left it up to the staff to pick a variety for us (something light, something dark, something sour etc) then took a seat and they brought it over to us. We decided the Liberty Halo pilsner was our favourite.
The vibe is: Very eclectic and laid-back. We took up post at a tall wooden table inside, since we were eating dinner on this occasion, but nabbing a seat in the sun out front is key for a summer Sunday arvo session.
It smells of: Pepperoni pizza with a hint of beer brewing, but nothing really stood out to our noses.
On the stereo: Were some great rock 'n' roll tunes - in particular an epic drum solo shining in a Queens of the Stone Age classic melted our face.
