Luxury label Balenciaga has been criticised for selling a baffling T-shirt "shirt".
The Spanish brand is charging up to $US1345 ($NZD1925) for the confusing clothing item that features either a crew neck T-shirt or short-sleeved shirt (dubbed the "double shirt"), with a second, button-up checked shirt attached to the front of it.
The designs have been branded a "joke", "bizarre", "fake" and simply "WTF" on social media.
It is yet another eyebrow-raising design from Balenciaga, which was last year mocked for releasing a calfskin carryall that was nearly identical to the Ikea blue shopping bag … only with a $A2150 ($NZ2329) price tag.
