Skin on the neck and decolletage is fragile. It's thinner than on the face and has fewer sebaceous glands and less fat support, making it prone to drying, sagging and ageing. Ignore it at your peril, because once the damage is done, it's difficult to reverse without expensive cosmetic procedures. Use a gentle exfoliator on a regular basis and moisturise daily with a concentrated neck and decolletage cream, as facial moisturisers aren't usually formulated to deliver the required level of hydration.
Do: apply gently in a circular motion from the centre of your chest, fanning out toward the shoulders and up the neck to the jawline.
Don't: leave your neck and chest unprotected from the sun, always use an SPF.
