The Opera Factory has found new premises just around the corner from its previous Newmarket location. After months of homelessness, the now-named New Opera Factory will resume training courses, productions and workshops in new studio spaces at 18 Eden St.
It also plans to stage La Boheme later in the year, as well as premiere a new trilogy by New Zealand composer Philip Norman next year.
First though, check out the factory's Puccini Room on Friday from 12.30pm where soprano Emma Sloman and tenor Paul Chappory are staging There's a Diva in My Soup.
