Bachelor star Matilda Rice lands beauty deal

Hot on the heels of her brand endorsement with Jockey, Matilda Rice has another project on the go - with makeup giant Maybelline.

And for a girl who has been mad on makeup since she was a tot, the venture is right up her alley.

"I was very much into makeup as a girl, and it all ramped up around fourth form," she says. "I used to steal Mum's lipstick all the time, which she hated!"

"I had so many makeup blunders! I had terrible eyebrows, they were a really bad shape and I used to draw them on way too dark," she laughs. "I also had a fake tan addiction as a teenager. I look back at photos and wonder, 'what was I thinking?!'"

The 25-year-old is excited about her latest brand endorsement, for the new Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama mascara, available for $24.99.

While she keeps her makeup fresh and minimal during the day, the reality star says mascara is one of her must-haves.

"I'm addicted to it," she says. "I have virtually non-existent lashes, they are tiny and stubby, so I always need something to lengthen them."

But the bachelorette says that when it comes to makeup, Art Green prefers the way she looks without the warpaint.

"He's always like, 'you don't look like yourself with makeup on!'", she laughs. "I think it would be a bad sign if he liked me better with makeup!"
