Baby, look at the triplets now

Identical triplets snapped by baby photographer Anne Geddes at just 9 weeks old are all grown up - and still at home in front of the camera.

Susanna, Jacyln and Charlee Passi, from Waiuku, were photographed just days after they were discharged from the neonatal intensive care unit at Auckland Hospital in 1999.

The girls are now 17, 178cm and, when not at high school, model for Unique Model Management.

Now based in New York, Geddes reconnected with the triplets as part of her babylook@younow campaign. She is turning 60 in September and is marking the milestone by reconnecting with the babies from her Kiwi calendars and coffee table books from the 1990s.

Geddes said she still remembers the day the triplets' mum Lisa Hickin brought them in to her studio.

"Jaclyn, Susanna and Charlee were all cradled in the large, craggy and very gentle hands of a gentleman called Jack," Geddes said.

The girls were just 9 weeks old.

Their mum Lisa Hickin said the girls, born at 31 weeks, slept through the shoot.

"They just lay cradled in the hands of this man Jack, who had the second biggest hands in New Zealand."

Recently Hickin, who took up photography six years ago, recreated her daughters' first Anne Geddes shoot.
