Baby boy for Cage

Nicolas Cage's wife Alice has given birth to a boy, Kal-el Coppola Cage, in New York City. Kal-el is a moniker recognised by comic book fans as the birth name of Superman.

"They are healthy and happy and it's quite lovely," his publicist said. The couple married in July last year. It was the third marriage for Cage and the first for his new wife, who was 20 when they wed.
