We all love a BLAT sammie. Make a more refined offering by grilling streaky bacon and finely slicing avocado (cut avocado needs lemon juice over it to stop it browning).
1. Mix some butter, mayo and a little chilli and Worcester sauce in your blender to cream it.
2. Spread on a light-grained bread. Cover with the sliced avocado and the finely chopped grilled bacon and make a sandwich.
3. Cut off the crusts and then cut sandwiches into quarters. Serve as a pass-around or with a pre-dinner drink.
