A Kiwi designer has taken out a top spot at the World Bodypainting Championships.
Dutch-born Yolanda Bartram won first place for special effects makeup.
Her husband Julian Bartram says Bartram's artwork is based on an Indian design crossed with a science fiction genre.
He says the competition, held in Austria, has an audience of 30,000 with at least 1000 photographers.
