A new quiz aims to distinguish perfectionists from non-perfectionists with a series of fiendishly difficult picture puzzles.

The test devised by quiz site Playbuzz asks users to spot the odd one out in a series of pictures.

The player is presented with ten pictures, all featuring three almost identical shapes in different colours.

The participant must then pick the odd shape out from the picture, with each of the illustrations featuring a shape that is ever so slightly distinct from its counterparts.

Those who score a nine or above are said to be the ultimate perfectionist, able to spot any imperfections from a mile off.

The differences range from the fairly easy to spot to those that will require a bit more thought.
