Madison magazine has become the latest casualty in the world of Australian fashion glossies.
The magazine will close its doors after its June issue, which will go on sale on May 15, said a statement on Bauer Media's website.
The brand website, madisonmag.com.au, will be decommissioned on June 18.
The magazine's closure follows Bauer's decision to kill off sister publication Grazia earlier in 2013 and before that, gardening magazine Burke's Backyard and men's title UFC.
"The decision to close a title is never easy but after recent and lengthy discussions with our joint venture partner, Hearst Magazines International, the conclusion was sadly drawn that for Madison to continue was no longer a commercially viable option,'' Bauer Media CEO Matthew Stanton said in a statement.
