Anacondas: The hunt for the blood orchid

Saw "Blood Orchid" in the title and thought this was somehow related to that really cool Coen Brothers one where the guy who wrote the movie is playing himself and his brother while he's trying to write the screenplay in hot and steamy New Orleans and nope, wrong flick.

This is a low-rent sequel to the 1997 Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Ice Cube, Jon Voight creepy about giant snakes. With cheaper actors and a cheaper plot.

It raises two questions: Why bother? And who was Jennifer Lopez, anyway?
