Alexander McQueen's McQ label will make its début at London Fashion Week in February next year.
The younger, more affordable, line has also announced the opening of its first standalone store next spring.
The flagship shop will be located on London's Dover Street and will stock womenswear, menswear and accessories.
The label was taken in-house at Alexander McQueen last year and has since been built into a fully independent collection overseen by Sarah Burton.
Burton became the creative director of the mainline label after Lee McQueen's death last year. She is well known for creating the Duchess of Cambridge's stunning wedding dress in April.
