Alanis Morissette takes in Rotorua tourist attractions

You oughta know Alanis Morissette is in Rotorua.

The Canadian rock singer and her movie star fiance Ryan Reynolds quietly slipped into Rotorua at the weekend where they took in the sights - including a wild trip on the Agrojet at the Rotorua Agrodome.

It is not known where the celebrity couple are staying while in Rotorua or even if they are still in the area, but they certainly appeared to enjoy their spin on the Agrojet.

"They just turned up on Saturday afternoon," Agrojet pilot Jason Trask said.

"They were obviously keeping a low profile and having a very relaxed time.

"It must be nice coming to the country and not being bombarded by people."

Mr Trask said his celebrity passengers were very warm and friendly.

The singer/ songwriter behind hit songs such as Ironic, You Oughta Know and Thank U, Alanis Morissette is also known for her handful of film roles, including playing God in the Catholic satire movie Dogma.

Ryan Reynolds is the star of Van Wilder: Party Liaison, Blade: Trinity and the television series Two Guys and a Girl.
