Accolades for Aussies

Cate Blanchett has two more honours to add to her Oscar nomination. The Aviator star was named most stylish actress and woman of the year at the Elle Style Awards. Fellow Australian Kylie Minogue, sporting a black Chanel dress and patent leather high heels, won the lifetime achievement award.

Earlier, Blanchett had been named best supporting actress at the British Academy Film Awards. She wore a black strapless Christian Lacroix dress to the London ceremony.

Briton Daniel Craig won the Elle style actor award and model Helena Christensen was honoured as a style icon. R&B artist Jamelia was the most stylish female music star and Will Young won most stylish male music star.
