Before a certain cheeky whitey made his debut on Prime, C4 said it wanted to quash "rumours" that the music channel would also be starting a 7pm current affairs programme. Besides, it said, it's mates with John Campbell.
As their new line-up shows, C4 have kept their word. Here's a glimpse of what's coming up in 2005.
Ride with Funkmaster Flex (9.30pm, Mondays from March 7): Pimp My Ride meets Cribs as hip-hop star Funkmaster Flex shows you what the stars drive, (featuring the likes of Eminem, Blink 182, Lil Kim, 50 Cent, Ludacris, Nelly and Queen Latifah.)
Beavis & Butthead (10pm, Mondays from March 7): Heh-heh. Stoners will be thrilled to know that the dumbest cartoon ever made is back. That sucks. No hang on, that's cool.
The Assistant (Tuesdays, 9.30pm, from March 1): A spoof of The Apprentice, hosted by self-described B-grade celeb Andy Dick.
The Ashlee Simpson Show (Wednesdays, 8pm, from March 2): Jessica's little sis and part-time Milli Vanilli impersonator has cameras watch her sign a record deal, record her first album and break up with boys.
Pop! Goes the Weasel (Thursdays, 8pm, from March 10): The music trivia show that started life on Channel Z in which musicians battle it out for "crap prizes". Featuring Dion from the D4, P-Money, Anika Moa, Jordan Luck, Dave Gibson, Peter Urlich, Ray Columbus, Chris Knox and more.
CD:UK (Saturdays, 5.30pm, from March 5) An alternative to Top of the Pops, hosted by Cat Deeley.
Sorority Life (Sundays, 7.30pm, from March 6): Here's where Big Brother meets Mean Girls in this bitchy insight into the lives of girls on campus at the University of California.
Returning series include Southpark, Punk'd and Ren & Stimpy.
A good ride coming your way on C4
