The internet is full of strange tricks designed to help parents get their babies to sleep, from a few drops of lavender oil to co-sleeping and dream feeds, but here's one we've never seen before.
Nathan Dailo, from Sydney, uploaded a video to YouTube showing his own unorthodox method forgetting his three-month-old son Seth to close his eyes and get some rest.
He strokes Seth's face repeatedly, and very gently, with a sheet of tissue paper. In a mere 42 seconds, the baby goes from a ball of energy to a sleeping cherub.
The video has been viewed over 100,000 times since being published last month, and has attracted a positive response on YouTube.
One online commenter said the trick had worked five times. Another wrote: "I'm gonna tell my neighbours right now with their damn crying baby during the middle of the night!"?
