A 9-year-old autistic girl has been reduced to tears after she received a disgusting and hurtful Christmas card on her last day of school.
Little Ella Singleton was excited about Christmas and handed out greeting cards to her "friends".
But when she received a number of cards back from herclassmates, one of them had an extremely hurtful message for the severely autistic girl from Liverpool, in the United Kingdom.
When she opened the card, she reacted badly, bursting into tears before wanting to run away and die.
According to Jenna, Ella lashed out at family members before trying to run away barefoot in the rain.
Ella made it two blocks before a delivery driver picked her up and returned her to her grandmother who went looking for her.
After sharing Ella's Christmas card, the 9-year-old has been flooded with well wishes and gifts from around the globe.

"Thank you so much to all who have sent Ella cards and gifts, here is some pics of arrived for her today. You are all so generous. Your kindness means so much," Jenna wrote in an update to Facebook.
Ella received dolls, chocolate, glow tattoos, perfume and a wealth of Christmas cards.
Jenna had a final message to other parents, urging them "to be kind to those who may have additional needs".
"Teach them to be kind and spread joy not sadness."
