It's official: Taylor Swift is in Auckland, the home town of best friend and Kiwi music sensation, Ella Yelich-O'Connor, a.k.a Lorde. So it seems only fitting she be her tour guide.
Here are a few local haunts we recommend they check out.
From kitchen snaps with her famous friends to the time she invited fans to a listening party and served up trays of her very own chocolate chip creations, it's clear Swift is a cookie fan.
And Lorde is a fan of Auckland cookie bar Moustache, which she petitioned to save from closing:
"Aucklanders - if you've been to moustache (the awesome milkshake/cookie place by the civic) you'll know how hard these people work and how much it would suck if they had to close," she wrote on Facebook.
2. The Cat Lounge cat café
One would assume Swift's cats Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson are also in the country, but if not, Taylor can get her kitty fix at New Zealand's first cat café, The Cat Lounge in Glenfield, Auckland - just a stone's throw from Lorde's Takapuna pad.
3. Mission Bay beach
Instagramming a Mission Bay beach date with her mum yesterday, we suggest Lorde takes Taylor along too.
Lorde took her boyfriend James Lowe to Tanpopo for a ramen date, surely her bestie should get the same treatment.
5. Martha's Backyard
Since she'll miss out on Thanksgiving back home, we recommend the pair head to Auckland's one stop shop for all things American. Swift will feel right at home at Martha's where she can stock up on pumpkin pie filling, Twinkies and fried chicken batter.
6. Woodpecker Hill
Having stopped into Parnell's Thai hot spot Blue Elephant last time she was here, Taylor and Lorde should head across the road for a jungle curry and a glass of New Zealand pinot at oriental smokehouse, Woodpecker Hill.
