Hello 70s
For easy party piece, slice the top off a camembert and bake at 200C for 10 to 15 minutes. You can stud with garlic and thyme, rosemary or sage, or wrap with prosciutto. Dip chilled wedges in breadcrumbs, deep fry and serve with cranberry sauce or sweet onion relish. Make a sugar toffee and pour over cheese - crack to eat the sweet/creamy combo.
Lavish lunch
Add to an egg quiche or puff pastry, or your favourite muffin recipe, paired with crab or smoked salmon, caramelised onion or pear, asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli or spinach.
Main attraction
Stuff chicken breasts, pork or mushrooms with slices of camembert. Or melt the cheese into a white wine sauce for a sinfully wonderful finish to pork or steak.
