10 hottest celebrity ice bucket challenges (+video)

In a campaign backed by The ALS Association, participants have a bucket of icy water poured over their head within 24 hours of being challenged and donate $10 to the charity. Alternatively, if they don't want to take part in the chilly challenge they are encouraged to donate at least $100 to an ALS charity of their choice. We've sifted the internet to find our ten favourite famous faces taking up the challenge.

1: The Hemsworth brothers

Australian brothers and actors Chris, Liam and Luke Hemsworth take the ALS ice bucket challenge. Warning: contains some explicit language.

Actress Ashley Tisdale takes the ice bucket challenge along with her High School Musical co-star Zac Efron.

3: Victoria Beckham

It's a side of Victoria Beckham that we don't usually see, the mother and fashion designer accepts the ice bucket challenge in the name of charity.

4: Robert Pattinson

British actor Robert Pattinson accepted Zac Efron's nomination to do the challenge, but did not seem to have a bucket handy at the time. Check out the video below:

5: Rihanna and Eminem

While on tour in Detroit, rapper Eminem hesitantly accepts the the ice bucket challenge, going on to nominate his tour buddy Rihanna to take the challenge also.

Pop star Britney Spears accepts her younger sister's nomination.

7: Oprah

US talk show host Oprah Winfrey takes the challenge, going on to nominate actress Dame Helen Mirren, director Steven Spielberg and actor Manish Danyal.

8: Gwyneth Paltrow
