After a week of talented performers, judges Elan, Lily and Julie narrowed it down to 13 junior acts and 10 senior acts with singers taking out both categories.
First place in the juniors category went to Elodie Craig for her performance that stood out for having the full package, and vocal performance, complete with her commanding stage presence.
For Elodie it was her second time competing.
"I entered last year but I was dancing so this was my first time singing."
Reiana and Ripeka Walker, singing with ukulele, were awarded second and Mia and Amy Marais, dancing, came third.
The judges thought the senior category was especially close with Sophie Taylor-Edwards taking out first place for her soulful performance.
Maddy Bean, singing with guitar, was awarded second and Ella Attree, dancing, came third.
For senior winner Sophie, it was her first time entering the competition.
"It was very nerve-racking, I've never done it before.
"But I'm going to Los Angeles next year with my dance academy so I was trying to win something so that I could spend some money when I get there."
The X-Factor award went to Cambelle Clare (beatboxing) who won a pool party at Coastlands Aquatic Centre, and two special awards went to Jesse Pollard-Simmiss (singing with keyboard) and Tom Marshall (comedy act).
