Paraparaumu RSA's Poppy Trust Fund has been given a boost thanks to a coin trail fundraiser at Paraparaumu College.
Four of the college houses - Te Pae o Whaitiri, Te Ake Tarewa, Maungakotukutuku, Te Wai o Rongomai - each fundraised money for the annual Poppy Day Appeal.
Each house createdan artwork that was reflective of their house as well as a poppy.
And then each house collected coins, and some notes, over a week in support of the Poppy Day Appeal.
A grand total of $353.70c was raised with the money presented by the house leaders to the local organisation's welfare officer Alan Dempsey and support adviser Roger Newth on Wednesday in principal Gregor Fountain's office.
